Exam Inertia
Yesterday was a particularly unproductive day in terms of revision, though I got some kind of studying in and it would be somewhat fair to say I now have a better idea of exactly what I’ll be dealing with in a few days’ time. Still, I can’t say I’m very proud of the erm crop yield yesterday.
That said, I sort of expected it after hitting the halfway point on Wednesday. So to put it nicely, things have been going according to plan.
I don’t know if I should try my luck in school today. I might. Or maybe I’ll drop by on Monday. Or the weekend. I cannot make up my mind.
These exams are taking far too long, though. And I hope everyone else who is having exams is doing fine.
Slightly Frightening Thought
It is slightly frightening to think that when the exams are concluded, we’ll be at the end of our fifth semester. That leaves three to go. Change is exciting and frightening at the same time. And there are too many things that I’m not looking forward to (even in the remaining year or so of undergraduate studies), and too many things that I’m not ready to leave behind.
Perhaps it’ll give way to some sense of urgency. Perhaps we’ll make the best of it.
It’s hard to say.
Back to the exams.
